Day #16

New People Take You To New Places. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)

God wants to give you a dream custom made for you, but that’s not all, he also wants to give you a person custom made for your dream.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.

If God has given you a dream for your life, one thing is sure, he will not ask you to pursue it by yourself. The Bible is filled with heroes who learned from and were encouraged by ordained “God relationships.” We see the pattern over and over again: God uses new people to help you go to new places.

Take the apostle Paul, for example, he was a mighty man of God, still, he needed the encouragement and support of other people, so God brought the right people into his life at the right times for the right reasons.

  • When Paul needed to be healed, God sent Ananias.
  • When Paul was discouraged, tired, and afraid. God again sent someone to encourage him and lift him up. (See 2 Corinthians 7: 5-6)

God wants to give you a dream custom made for you, but that’s not all, he also wants to give you a person custom made for your dream. These “God relationships” maximize your potential, and guide you through the steps to where God is leading you.

A guiding voice can speak to the potential inside of you and help you to become the person God created you to be. They expose you to new habits, deeper relationships and increase your expectation for life. A Godly mentor will keep raising the bar of expectation from you, and for yourself, they see the potential inside of you even when you can’t see it in yourself.

If you’re open and willing to learn, God will send new people into your life to take you to new places.

Prayer: God, reveal to me the people and relationships that will help me to overcome and reach the dreams you have placed on my heart. Help me to remember that relationships matter and to be intentional with the people you have put in my life. When the trials and troubles of life come, help me to lean into Godly meteors that will help to continue towards the plan you have for my life.
